Video Automation / Internal Tool
CreoGen

Concept illustration generated for this case study.
Overview
A local video automation tool that assembles batches of vertical 9:16 clips from source footage, backgrounds, music, voiceover and subtitles. A browser interface controls an FFmpeg processing pipeline.
Problem / Context
Preparing repeated short-form video variants by hand requires the same assembly, audio and export steps each time.
Solution
A local Python service exposes a browser interface for composition, audio, subtitles and export settings. FFmpeg builds the final composition; hardware detection limits concurrent encoding and can fall back from GPU to CPU.
Key features
- Batch assembly of vertical 9:16 videos
- Source and background composition controls
- Music and optional voiceover
- Optional speech recognition and subtitles
- GPU encoder detection and CPU fallback
- Live progress and local output controls
My role
Video processing pipeline, local browser controls, FFmpeg composition, hardware-aware export and subtitle integration.
